The modifications that have been carried out this year on the National numbering plan did not affect the current use of numbers assigned to the licensed telecom service providers, however it comes with new numbering capacity and access codes for example; Access code (911) for the emergency services, and Access code (117 XXX) for certain type of Premium Rate Services like commercial call centers and to determine the numbering capacity that is suitable for the VoIP service.
TRC has conducted modifications for the instructions for allocation and reservation of numbering capacities which will have a positive effect on the efficiency use of numbers.
